With 8 floodlit courts and an impressive record at top level tennis, The Browns Bay Racquets is one of the strongest clubs on the North Shore.  We also support a large junior membership with an active coaching programme currently in place.

Summer Interclub

Senior Summer Interclub is now well underway with matches for all grades every fortnight.  The season of Interclub runs from 19th September 2009 - 17th April 2010.  Check out the Tennis North Harbour website with updates and results for all grades and teams.  

Junior Interclub teams are also underway with some matches being played Fridays and weekends (incl. Sundays). Contact Gavin Hill or Andy Burrows for more information.   

Social Club Afternoons - Every Sunday

Tennis Club day takes place every Sunday from 2.00pm onwards and provides an ideal opportunity to mix with other members and play at your desired level.  This is a popular day weather permitting and we welcome new members or beginners to tennis to come along and try out the facility - bar opens at 4pm.

Business house competitions

These are organised throughout the year for all members and played on a Thursday evening starting 7pm.  With teams of four people these prove to be extremely popular.  If you would like to take part, please contact Thuten Kesang on 483 7275. 

Midweek Ladies

Ladies Day is every Wednesday morning starting at 9:00am.  New members are always welcome.  For further information regarding the committee, please click here.

Veterans Tennis

Every Friday starting at 9am the courts are flooded with enthusiastic Vets.  Pay a small fee and enjoy a cup of tea and a relaxed and fun game of tennis.  New players are always welcome.

Our resident Tennis Professional, Gavin Hill, is available for private or group lessons.  Gavin can be contacted on 479-7910 or 0274 tennis.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome to play at the Club outside of peak hours (5-7pm).  If they play with a Club Member then they must pay a visitor's fee of $10.00 per person.  Should they both be visitors then they must pay $15 per court during the day or $20 in the evenings.  This is for 1.5 hours.  Fees must be paid to the Club Manager during office hours or at the Bar (Monday - Friday 5-11pm or Weekends 4-8pm).
